Spring? Is that you??

Here in Canada it feels like forever and a half away and all but a distant memory.

If you're anything like us, you're ready to go gungho in your gardens and backyard to get it perfect and ready for summer.

You've put your toque, mittens, and timmies cup down and have your rake in hand to start your spring cleaning, but just hold the phone for just a sec friend --

Did you know that butterflies, bumblebees and other pollinators are overwintering in all that foliage? They nest in all those dead leaves, cocooned stems, and last years garden.

So by cleaning out your garden you'll literally be throwing away Canadas best pollinators! Wait till its at least +10 for all your outdoor spring cleaning.

Until that barometer hits the mighty ten, save your spring cleaning for all those nooks and crannies in your home that may have been missed during the winter months. In turn you'll be saving this years bumblebees and other helpful pollinators!

Who knew that slacking a little bit on spring cleaning would help out Mother nature?
